West Side Service
Why West Side Homes Get Mice
Old Colorado City and the west side have some of the oldest homes in the area, many with basements, crawl spaces, older foundations and mature trees. Add the creek corridors and open space nearby, and mice have plenty of places to live until the weather turns.
When it gets cold, they follow pipes and wiring into basements, utility rooms and kitchens. Look for droppings near the furnace and water heater, under the sink and along the back of drawers, plus chewed boxes and scratching in the walls at night.
We handle mouse control for homes across Old Colorado City and the west side, and we keep it simple: you text, we price, we book. Baiting is what brings the numbers down, and many families add our quarterly pest and rodent plan so it doesn't start over next year. We're running a winter promo right now, so text us for today's price.

The West Side Pest Year
October to February: Mouse season. Garages, basements and attics see activity first.
March to May: Ants wake up and voles show their work in lawns as the snow melts.
June to September: Wasps and yellow jackets build under eaves and decks. Spiders peak in late summer.
September: The best time to get a rodent plan in place before the first cold snap in the west side.
Before We Arrive
Simple Steps for West Side Homeowners
Start with the garage. Keep the door closed at night, check the bottom seal, and move birdseed, grass seed and pet food into sealed bins. Most west side mouse problems begin in the garage.
Walk the outside of the house and look for gaps where pipes, wires, dryer vents and AC lines come through. A gap the width of a pencil is enough for a mouse. Keep shrubs and firewood back from the walls.
If you find droppings, don't sweep them dry. Wet them down first, wear gloves and wipe them up. Then call or text us and we'll take it from there.

Is mouse control safe with pets and kids?
Yes. Everything we place is in locked, tamper-resistant stations kept out of reach, and we walk you through what we did when we're done.
Will sealing the house keep mice out?
Sealing helps, but it never fully stops them. Mice find new ways in through garages, crawl spaces and roof lines. Baiting and regular checks are what keep the numbers down.
